I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we're having this weekend! Our week in 3rd grade was very busy. On Wednesday, we had our first Ag. in the Class lesson! We learned about how football is related to farms. The students realized that there are many connections, and that a football game could not happen without a farmer. We will be having Ag. in the Class every month for the rest of the year. They are valuable lessons about the importance of agriculture, and the students love it. Friday was also a special day. My parents came from Chicago for a visit, and my mom taught an art history lesson to the students. They were able to make their own versions of a famous Renoir painting. I am very impressed with the effort the students put into their art projects.
