The Week Ahead
English: We will continue our unit about verbs.
Math: We will learn to construct a number line, add two-digit numbers using the addition algorithm, use estimation to verify the reasonableness of calculated results, draw and measure line segments to the nearest half inch, and multiply by seven.
Reading: My reading class will be reading a story called, The Talent Show. We will also discuss the prefixes dis-, im-, in-, and bi-, the suffixes -er, -or, -less, -able, and -ible, how to create mental images as we read, sequence of events, words with the /aw/ sound, and much more.
Social Studies: We are super lucky to have Junior Achievement all this coming week!
